Legal and Compliance Analyst, Privacy and Security
SpaceX is seeking a Legal and Compliance Analyst to support its Starlink broadband internet business. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with global legal requirements concerning law enforcement responses, cybersecurity, and data privacy. The position is based in Hawthorne, California, and requires on-site presence.
In this role, the analyst will assist in developing and executing processes to efficiently handle legal demands from law enforcement and government agencies. They will also respond to privacy-related inquiries from Starlink customers and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance matters. Additional responsibilities include supporting other legal functions such as litigation, contract management, and general regulatory compliance.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and have at least one year of experience related to law enforcement, cybersecurity, or privacy legal issues. Preferred qualifications include experience as a legal analyst or paralegal in a law firm or in-house setting, knowledge of legal and regulatory issues facing telecommunications or internet service providers, and experience working directly with government agencies and regulators.
The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, employees are eligible for long-term incentives, including company stock options, discretionary bonuses, and participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
