Legal Consultant - AI, Tech (Korean Speaker)
Axiom, a global leader in on-demand legal talent, is seeking a Legal Consultant specializing in AI and technology to collaborate with Thomson Reuters. This role focuses on developing AI-powered legal research features and related technologies on LAWnB, aiming to enhance the accuracy and applicability of AI outputs in the legal domain.
The consultant will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to design, build, and manage Gold Sets, including representative queries, reference answers, and evaluation criteria for legal AI quality assurance. Responsibilities also encompass evaluating AI search, summarization, and generative outputs against Gold Set standards, refining prompts and retrieval results from a legal subject matter expert perspective, and partnering with AI engineers and product managers to translate quality findings into tangible product improvements.
Candidates should possess hands-on experience in legal research across law firms, in-house legal teams, legal content, or knowledge management. A strong ability to conduct complex legal research using cases, statutes, and secondary sources is essential, along with expertise in Boolean and advanced legal search methodologies. The role requires strong analytical thinking skills, a collaborative and proactive mindset, and native or professional working-level proficiency in Korean. Experience building or using Gold Sets for AI or AI-assisted research evaluation is considered a plus.
