Legal Consultant - Financial Services

Axiom is seeking experienced Legal Consultants to join our Financial Services team in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to work with Fortune 500 clients, providing legal expertise in banking and finance transactions within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The Legal Consultant will provide legal advice on various banking and finance transactions, including structuring, documentation, and regulatory considerations. Responsibilities include advising front office teams on macro and credit products, supporting business-as-usual transactional workflows, and reviewing, drafting, and advising on a range of market-related agreements. The consultant will work closely with internal stakeholders across Singapore and regional markets to ensure legal risks are identified, assessed, and managed in line with internal policies and regulatory expectations.

Candidates should possess 3–10 years of post-qualification experience with significant expertise in financial services. A strong transactional background in macro or credit, with the ability to manage end-to-end matters independently, is essential. Experience in both private practice and in-house roles within financial institutions is highly preferred. The role requires the ability to provide clear, commercially focused legal advice under tight timelines, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
