Legal Consultant - Real Estate Lawyer, Fortune 100

Axiom, a global leader in on-demand legal talent, is seeking a Legal Consultant specializing in real estate to support a Fortune 100 client. This role involves providing comprehensive legal guidance on real estate matters across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to ensure consistent and commercially focused advice.

Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases and related documents for various facilities such as retail stores, offices, distribution centers, and data centers. The consultant will also advise on landlord and facilities matters, including asset management, operational disputes, and maintenance issues, and support complex cross-border real estate transactions and negotiations.

Candidates must be qualified lawyers with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in real estate law from common law jurisdictions. Experience in APAC leasing and commercial property transactions, particularly in China and Australia, is advantageous. Strong drafting and negotiation skills are essential, along with excellent written and spoken English; Mandarin language skills are a bonus but not required.
