Legal Counsel, Church & Ministry Alliance

The Legal Counsel for the Church & Ministry Alliance (CMA) at Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) serves as a vital resource for faith-based ministries, offering daily operational and legal support to advance their religious missions. This role involves reviewing governing documents, handbooks, policies, and contracts, and providing direct consultation to churches and ministries on their legal rights and responsibilities. Additionally, the position includes preparing and revising legal resources and engaging in public advocacy through speaking, blogging, and media appearances as requested by ADF. The role reports to the Deputy Director of the CMA Legal Program Team and is available in Scottsdale, AZ; Lansdowne, VA; and Dallas, TX.
