Legal Counsel, Corporate Securities
DoorDash is seeking a Legal Counsel specializing in Corporate Securities to join its dynamic legal team. This remote position reports directly to the Senior Corporate Securities Counsel and plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company's compliance with securities laws and regulations. In this role, the Legal Counsel will oversee the company's public disclosures, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, earnings calls, investor relations-related disclosures, and corporate press releases. They will support the administration of equity programs, manage insider trading compliance, and assist with securities offerings and strategic initiatives. Additionally, the position involves supporting corporate governance processes, including Board and Committee meetings, and advising on shareholder-related matters.
Candidates should have over five years of experience in corporate securities and/or executive compensation and benefits law, gained either in-house at a public company or at a law firm. Experience with equity programs, including unique equity award structures and related reporting requirements, is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences. The compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $183,600 to $270,000 per year, determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. In addition to the base salary, the compensation package includes opportunities for equity grants.
