The Lifecycle Specialist, Employee Relations & Transitions at Remote is responsible for managing employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring legal compliance and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves providing first-level employee relations support, guiding clients through workplace concerns, and coordinating appropriate resources as needed. As part of the broader Employee Lifecycle team, the specialist contributes to process improvements and initiatives aligned with Remote's strategic goals and values.

Key responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end employee offboarding processes, advising clients on various HR matters such as terminations, resignations, transfers, employment contracts, and redundancy procedures. The specialist leads and facilitates meetings related to workforce reductions, administrative hearings, and negotiations, aiming to achieve positive outcomes in complex termination scenarios. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions, is essential to ensure compliance in offboarding activities and audits.

The ideal candidate has experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR competencies across the employee lifecycle. Proven expertise in managing voluntary and involuntary exits with sensitivity and legal compliance is required, along with the ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments and analyze complex HR issues. Strong communication, conflict management, and negotiation skills are essential, as is business-level proficiency in written and spoken English. Additional languages are a plus.
