Litigation Paralegal | LA Experience Preferred
Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys is seeking a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Metairie, Louisiana. As a rapidly growing personal injury law firm with offices nationwide, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional legal representation to our clients. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with our attorneys, contributing to complex cases and ensuring the highest level of client service.
In this position, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing medical records, and maintaining open communication with clients, providers, and opposing counsel. Your day-to-day tasks will include sending letters of representation, updating clients on case statuses, collecting necessary documents and information, and assisting attorneys with pleadings, correspondence, and scheduling.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of legal experience in property casualty cases, with personal injury experience considered a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and familiarity with case management systems like FileVine is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with experience in drafting legal documents and managing medical records, are essential for success in this role.
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance fully paid by the firm, a generous paid time off plan, and a 401(k) plan with a 3% match.
