Machine Learning Scientist
As a Machine Learning Scientist at Appier, you will be an integral part of our research team, contributing to the development of AI-driven solutions that enhance business decision-making. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include utilizing machine learning and analytical techniques to build predictive models for advertising and enterprise solutions. You will analyze large datasets to extract valuable insights, design and develop advanced models to predict consumer behavior, and collaborate with software engineering teams to implement real-time models and create new features. Additionally, you will design efficient, scalable, and automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, validation, and implementation, while researching and evaluating pioneering machine learning and statistical models.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or Statistics, with a strong foundation in probabilistic and predictive models. You should have solid experience in system design and programming, the ability to work with big data with minimal engineering support, and at least three years of experience in data mining, algorithms, statistical analysis, computational natural language processing, and/or machine learning. A proven track record of solving challenging problems in both academia and industry, extensive publication experience, self-motivation, and the ability to prioritize multiple competing challenges in a fast-growth environment are essential. Additionally, strong meta-cognitive skills, openness to continuous learning, and clear and precise communication abilities are highly valued.
