Manager, Central Cloud Infrastructure

Metropolis is an artificial intelligence company specializing in computer vision technology to create frictionless, checkout-free experiences in the real world. The company is seeking a Manager to lead its Central Cloud Infrastructure team in Chennai, India. This pivotal engineering group governs cloud usage, manages foundational elements of the cloud, develops shared tooling, supports other teams through consultancy, and ensures the cloud is secure and compliant with PCI and SOC2 requirements. As a key engineering leader, you will provide technical and cross-team leadership to manage core infrastructure utilizing AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes/EKS, modernize existing platforms, and architect solutions that bridge established products with the next-generation cloud ecosystem to increase velocity and maintain long-term cloud health.
