Manager, Content Development - Columbia
The Manager, Content Development role is a pivotal team member of our content development team. This role is tasked with shooting (when appropriate) and editing short form content for digital/social distribution. This person must excel in a fast-paced environment and be able to balance multiple projects simultaneously. The right person will use their creative vision across multiple artist social platforms and to help create compelling video content that is optimized for short form platforms and leads to artist discovery and consumption.
Key responsibilities include producing and editing short form videos across vertical format channels such as TikTok and Instagram Reels, developing engaging content ideas optimized for these platforms, creating animated motion graphic assets for social media and digital service providers, and shooting social content using various equipment. Additionally, the role involves staying updated on social media trends and managing multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.
The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in shooting high-quality short videos and photos, as well as editing them using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Photoshop. A deep understanding of the latest trends and best practices in short form vertical content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts is essential. Expertise in various social media platforms, including their algorithms and best practices, is also required.
