Manager, Frontline Marketing
The Manager, Frontline Marketing position at Sony Music Entertainment is a pivotal role within the newly established Asia Repertoire team, focusing on promoting frontline artists and music from Taiwan and Hong Kong to the Mainland Chinese audience. This role is instrumental in driving awareness, engagement, and revenue through innovative marketing strategies across digital, social, and traditional channels.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns for new releases, ensuring alignment with artist positioning and business objectives. The manager will oversee end-to-end campaign execution, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables, while coordinating with internal teams such as A&R, digital, and sales, as well as external partners like DSPs and media agencies. Additionally, the role involves driving artist visibility through social media, influencer partnerships, and paid advertising, optimizing content for engagement and conversion across platforms, and developing fan engagement strategies, including contests, live events, and exclusive content to support artist branding and long-term fan loyalty.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant working experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the music and entertainment business in a similar marketing and promotional role for artists. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment, and proficiency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) are essential. Familiarity with the Chinese media scene, excellent social media skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also required.
