The Manager, Media Investment role is part of Mindshare’s Unite global media team, dedicated to servicing Unilever, one of the world’s largest advertisers. Based in London and integrated within Mindshare Global HQ, the Unite team comprises over 60 professionals specializing in media planning, investment, digital operations, data management, and reporting across more than 80 countries. This full-time position focuses on managing Unilever’s global media budget setting program, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of media investments.

Key responsibilities include rolling out the annual budget setting process by supporting and conducting training sessions for agencies, Unilever media clients, and other functions. The role involves managing the timely and accurate delivery of cost databases, maintaining and analyzing budget data throughout the year to provide valuable insights, and serving as the primary point of contact for local teams. Additionally, the Manager will translate client requirements into well-organized presentations and reports, ensure consistency with other reporting tools, manage user requests, and collaborate with the Data Quality Team to support monthly data checks.

The ideal candidate possesses strong data management, reporting, and analytical skills, along with basic media knowledge and solid project management experience. They should be confident in presenting to large groups and capable of managing and resolving user queries. A positive, adaptable mindset, excellent organizational and communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail are essential. Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including Pivot tables, SumIfs, Named Ranges, Lookups, and Filters, is required, as well as strong numeracy skills and a genuine interest in working with data.
