Remote is seeking a Manager of Payroll Operations for the EMEA region on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This role involves leading the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with country-specific regulations. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Payroll Operations and is part of Remote's Global Payroll Operations team.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the complete payroll function, serving as the primary contact for payroll-related matters, and managing relationships with payroll service providers. The role also involves staying updated on international payroll laws, ensuring compliance with corporate and country-specific policies, and developing best practices and performance metrics for the team.

Candidates should have extensive experience in regional or global payroll operations and a strong understanding of global payroll best practices. Experience in implementing payroll across multiple countries and managing third-party payroll services is essential. Proficiency in software tools like SAP and Excel, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is required. Fluency in English and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment are also necessary.
