Manager, People Experience
The Manager, People Experience at Sony Music Entertainment will serve as a key liaison between employees, managers, and People Experience Centers of Excellence for designated business units. Reporting to the Senior Director of People Experience, this role focuses on implementing people strategies that drive engagement, performance, and organizational success within a dynamic and creative environment.
Key responsibilities include supporting senior team members with cyclical processes such as performance management, compensation reviews, and talent calibration. The manager will provide day-to-day operational support, partnering with centers of excellence like talent acquisition, benefits, payroll, and compensation. Additionally, they will manage onboarding and offboarding processes, lead strategic employee touchpoints—including new hire check-ins and exit interviews—and contribute to annual processes by creating presentations and engagement materials.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree with 2–3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in mid- to large-scale or matrixed organizations. They should be an ambitious self-starter who takes initiative, learns quickly, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential. A commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and fostering an inclusive workplace is also required. Proficiency in HR systems, data analysis, and Microsoft and Google Suites is expected, with a passion for the music industry considered a strong plus.
