The Manager of the Programmatic Business Unit (PB) leads a team specialized in programmatic marketing activation for a portfolio of WPP Media Agency’s clients, ensuring best-in-class media buying and delivery to meet and optimize campaign KPIs. This role is based in Manila, Philippines, within WPP Media, WPP's AI-driven media operating unit that combines media, data, and partnerships to deliver creative personalization at scale.

Key responsibilities include strategizing, optimizing, and delivering on clients’ programmatic KPIs such as CPL, CPA, CPM, and app installs. The manager will oversee campaign setup, monitor success through media analytics and dashboards, manage campaign budgets and daily spend levels, and implement account optimizations based on performance trends. Additionally, the role involves ensuring quality campaign delivery, supporting campaign brief solutions, and developing tactical responses via media schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of programmatic buying, including DSPs/SSPs, RTB, ad-exchanges, DMPs, and audience targeting. They should possess strong analytical skills, be able to demonstrate innovative ideas supporting business growth, and have a thorough understanding of brand safety, viewability, and ad fraud. Experience in managing a team and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders is essential.
