Manager,Software Engineer-AI

Conga is seeking a Manager, Software Engineer-AI to lead a team of software engineers in developing next-generation AI solutions. This role involves building statistical and machine learning models that enhance product features across the company. The position is based in Bangalore and reports to the VP of AI Engineering.

The Manager will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing the development of robust, scalable AI/ML foundations and platforms. Key responsibilities include overseeing feature stores, distributed ML model training, model versioning and evaluation, monitoring, drift detection, and automated retraining pipelines. The role also involves ensuring responsible AI practices, model explainability, and fairness assessments.

Candidates should have over 8 years of experience in the software engineering industry, with at least 3 years in team management. A deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Machine Learning Lifecycle (MLL) is essential. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (preferred), Java, C#, or Scala is required. Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure, and familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, are also necessary.
