Manager Software Engineering
Diligent Corporation is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead and inspire high-performing engineering teams in developing AI-augmented, cloud-native solutions that redefine governance for organizations worldwide. This role involves guiding the evolution of Diligent’s technology and AI vision, fostering a results-oriented engineering culture focused on excellence, velocity, and intelligent automation.
Key responsibilities include partnering with architecture, product, and customer success teams to design and deliver AI-empowered, data-driven software solutions that scale globally. The manager will champion the adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve quality, velocity, and developer experience, and drive AI integration across the product ecosystem, including predictive analytics and workflow automation. Additionally, the role involves leading complex technical initiatives, mentoring engineering talent, and overseeing DevOps excellence through intelligent CI/CD pipelines.
The ideal candidate will have 10–12 years of experience developing enterprise-grade applications using the MERN stack or equivalent modern frameworks, with proficiency in JavaScript-based tech stacks and a deep understanding of component-based architecture. A minimum of 2 years of proven experience leading full-stack engineering teams and managing large-scale delivery initiatives is required. Strong understanding of AI/ML applications in software development, experience with AI-powered productivity tools, and deep experience with cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices are essential. Excellent communication skills and a passion for innovation and ethical AI use are also important.
