Manager, Strategic Operations
Metropolis is seeking a Manager, Strategic Operations to serve as the operational hub of the Chief Commercial Officer’s office. This role involves managing complex governance, administrative operations, and strategic initiatives to ensure the office operates efficiently in an AI-first environment. The Manager will act as a trusted partner and single point of contact for executive leadership coordination, extending the CCO's reach across the organization.
Key responsibilities include preparing logistics for regular meetings, developing presentations, managing agenda inputs, and supporting town hall preparations. The role also involves coordinating with the VP of Strategic Initiatives and commercial leadership on cross-functional meeting preparations, managing communication infrastructure for leadership teams, and leading the Annual Meeting preparation calendar. Additionally, the Manager will oversee vendor relationships, manage the employee recognition program, and utilize AI tools to improve office workflows.
The ideal candidate will have over six years of experience in strategic program management, consulting, or operations coordination. Exceptional organizational skills, a strong bias for action, and the ability to work independently are essential. High emotional intelligence and professional maturity are required for interactions with C-suite leaders, investors, and external partners. Technical proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, as well as experience with AI productivity tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, is also necessary.
Metropolis offers a competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 annually. The total compensation package includes healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a stock option plan, and bonus plans.
