The Manager, Viral Marketing at Columbia Records is responsible for developing and executing artist-focused digital campaigns that drive music consumption and audience engagement. This role emphasizes influencer partnerships, campaign innovation, and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The Viral Marketing team operates within Columbia Records’ Digital Marketing department.

Key responsibilities include building and managing relationships with influencers, agencies, and management companies at scale. The manager will partner with the Senior Director, Viral Marketing on campaigns for priority artists and singles, leading influencer campaigns from concept to execution, and maintaining momentum throughout the single/album lifecycle. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with Digital Marketing and Audience Development teams to engage fan pages and online communities, negotiating influencer partnerships to align with campaign goals and budgets, and driving creative ideation for innovative influencer initiatives.

The ideal candidate has over two years of professional experience in influencer, social media, or digital marketing, preferably in music, entertainment, or creative agency environments. They should have a proven ability to design, launch, and scale influencer campaigns, especially across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube Shorts. A strong understanding of music culture, trends, and creator communities is essential, along with familiarity with streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. Excellent interpersonal skills, exceptional organizational and project management abilities, and experience or basic knowledge of AI tools to support streaming workflows are also desirable.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 USD. The actual base salary offered depends on various factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Additional compensation components or other benefits may also be available.
