As a member of a trenching team at BESIX Unitec, a subsidiary of the BESIX Group specializing in high-quality infrastructure solutions, you will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of underground utility networks. BESIX Unitec's expertise encompasses cable and pipeline networks for water, gas, electricity, and telecommunications, as well as automation and smart energy management systems. Your primary responsibilities will include dismantling pavement or sidewalk coverings, excavating and sealing trenches both mechanically and manually, and manually digging exploratory trenches. You will also be tasked with placing conduits and cables for various public services into trenches before closing them, restoring opened sections to their original state by repaving according to industry standards, and maintaining a clean and secure worksite for yourself and others.

The ideal candidate has a strong affinity for outdoor work and holds a valid Category B driver's license; additional driving licenses are considered advantageous. A good command of the French language is essential. Given that our projects are located throughout Wallonia, flexibility regarding commuting is required.
