Mechanical Engineer III - Test
Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III - Test to join our team in Reno, NV. In this position, you will be responsible for integrating components and subsystems for testing purposes, setting up and calibrating measurement instruments, and developing comprehensive test plans for complex systems. You will also create technical reports and manuals tailored to various audiences, develop design solutions for intricate engineering challenges, and conduct structural and thermal analyses. Additionally, you will manage project plans, including procurement and vendor evaluations, and lead small teams to effectively communicate project goals.
The ideal candidate will have four to seven years of mechanical engineering experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Preferred qualifications include experience in rocket motor design and testing, a Master of Science degree in a relevant engineering discipline, and a current DoD Top Secret SCI Security Clearance.
