MEP Tender Engineer
As an MEP Tender Engineer at BESIX, you will be an integral part of our Estimating department, based at our headquarters in Woluwé-Saint-Lambert. Our projects are primarily located in Belgium, though our reach extends globally.
In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive study and coordination of all aspects related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installations during the tender phase. Your day-to-day tasks will include analyzing contractual requirements, conducting detailed assessments of specifications and drawings, soliciting and evaluating price offers from suppliers and subcontractors, and preparing final tender documents for submission. Additionally, you will ensure effective coordination between MEP trades and other disciplines within the General Contractor’s scope, as well as liaise with clients and external stakeholders to address all MEP-related issues.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electromechanics and have at least five years of relevant experience as an MEP Tender Engineer, preferably with a focus on HVAC systems. Proficiency in French, Dutch, and English is highly desirable, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You should demonstrate a proactive approach, creativity in problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Flexibility to meet deadlines and a passion for the field are essential.
