Mid-Level Legal Counsel | Civil Litigation & Advisory
EBANX, a leading fintech company in Latin America, is seeking a Mid-Level Legal Counsel specializing in Civil Litigation & Advisory to join their dynamic Legal team. This role is based in either São Paulo or Curitiba, Brazil, and offers an opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing global payments company.
In this position, you will provide legal advice on civil and corporate law matters, supporting various business areas in their daily operations. You will manage EBANX's civil litigation portfolio, overseeing cases, deadlines, risks, and potential financial and business impacts. Additionally, you will coordinate closely with external law firms to ensure alignment on legal strategies, priorities, deadlines, and expected outcomes.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Law with an active Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) registration. A solid background in Corporate Civil Law (Direito Cível Empresarial) and proven experience in an in-house legal department of large companies are essential. Experience in managing civil litigation and interacting with external law firms is required, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance legal risks with business needs. Fluency in English is necessary, and proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
