Senior Commercial Legal Analyst
EBANX, a leading Latin American fintech company, is seeking a Senior Commercial Legal Analyst to join its Corporate Legal team in São Paulo. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements with global clients and strategic business partners. The analyst will provide legal support during contract negotiations, balancing legal risks with business objectives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to offer legal guidance on strategic initiatives and daily business matters. Additionally, the position entails identifying legal risks and proposing practical, business-oriented solutions to support EBANX's growth, as well as collaborating with global stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions to ensure legal consistency and operational efficiency. The analyst will also support the continuous improvement of legal processes, templates, and best practices within the Commercial Legal team.
The ideal candidate should have experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements, with strong executive communication skills to clearly present legal concepts and recommendations to senior stakeholders. A high level of autonomy, accountability, and ownership is essential, along with the ability to independently manage priorities and drive projects to completion. Intellectual curiosity and adaptability to navigate different legal topics, products, and international markets are important, as is a business-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The candidate should be able to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and global environment, and possess full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken), as this is the primary language used with global teams and clients.
Experience in the payments industry, banking, financial services, or the fintech ecosystem is advantageous. Experience working in global technology companies or supporting cross-border operations is also beneficial. Familiarity with international commercial transactions and multi-jurisdictional legal matters is a plus.
