Mid-Market Account Executive
The Mid-Market Account Executive at Modulr is a pivotal role within the commercial team, based in London. This position focuses on driving growth by bringing Modulr's embedded payments solutions to market, targeting businesses ranging from SMEs to enterprises across the UK and Europe. Modulr specializes in enabling efficient pay-in, collection, and disbursement of funds through various payment schemes, accounts, and card products.
In this role, the Account Executive will own the full sales cycle for the corporate segment, from prospecting to closing deals. Responsibilities include building and nurturing a robust pipeline across multiple verticals, conducting discovery sessions to understand customer challenges, and delivering tailored presentations to strategic prospects. The role also involves accurately forecasting opportunities, achieving quarterly booking targets, and developing long-term relationships with senior stakeholders in high-value accounts. Additionally, the Account Executive will represent Modulr at events and industry forums to enhance brand awareness and lead generation.

A commercial literacy with a drive to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is essential. The role requires a consultative approach with the gravitas to hold compelling conversations with senior stakeholders and comfort in navigating complex buying processes. Applicants should have 3-5 years of experience selling complex solutions to prospects, a proven track record of achieving quotas, and managing multi-stakeholder deals. Proficiency in CRM tools and modern sales enablement tools, along with the ability to run structured discovery, build ROI cases, and articulate value propositions clearly, is also required.
