Network Engineer in Solution Test
Arista Networks is seeking a Network Engineer in Solution Test to join our team dedicated to ensuring the quality of our products through comprehensive system testing. This role involves working within a collaborative environment to emulate complex, feature-rich networks that mirror our strategic customers' infrastructures.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with development, sales, and other test teams to understand requirements and expectations. The engineer will plan and build network topologies, configure hardware and software to emulate required environments, execute exhaustive test plans focusing on performance and scalability, troubleshoot issues, and communicate results to stakeholders.
The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in telecommunications, computer engineering, or computer networking, with over three years of experience in system or solution testing of complex environments. Proficiency in Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies, detailed knowledge of switch administration, familiarity with Linux tools, and some experience with scripting languages like Python or TCL are essential. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to quality improvement are also required.
Arista Networks offers a competitive salary range of $105,000 to $145,000, with actual compensation based on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, wellbeing programs, income protection, and a Group Retirement Savings Plan.
