Night shift Utility Technician
The Night Shift Utility Technician at LG Electronics in Clarksville, TN, plays a crucial role in overseeing and monitoring vendor activities related to electrical and mechanical systems during the night shift from 6 pm to 6 am. This position ensures that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the seamless functioning of the facility.
Key responsibilities include ensuring vendor electricians adhere to de-energizing and re-energizing protocols, observing and monitoring vendor mechanics during the installation, repair, and maintenance of ventilation equipment, and evaluating fire alarm vendors to ensure proper installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems. Additionally, the technician maintains records, prepares reports, assists in developing product specifications, and may operate motorized equipment during training or emergency situations.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting. Knowledge of control room operations, basic electrical and control systems for troubleshooting, and mechanical maintenance of air handling systems is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $22.
