Onboarding Specialist

As an Onboarding Specialist at Wolt, you will play a pivotal role in integrating new restaurant partners into our platform, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed. This position is based in Helsinki, Finland, and involves both in-office work and regular visits to merchant sites within the Helsinki region and beyond. Wolt, a technology company founded in 2014, has expanded its services to over 500 cities across 30 countries, offering delivery of a wide range of products.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process for new restaurant partners. This includes training merchant staff on effectively using Wolt's point-of-sale system, creating and executing onboarding strategies, and developing training materials to facilitate staff understanding and adoption. Additionally, you will oversee the implementation of digital ordering and SaaS tools, identify opportunities to improve existing merchant workflows, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the merchant experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, along with at least two years of experience in restaurant or bar management, customer support, or the hospitality industry. A proactive, hands-on approach is essential, as well as excellent customer support skills and the ability to work effectively across departments. Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Finnish are required.
