Order-to-Cash Senior Analyst
The Order-to-Cash Senior Analyst at Sony Music Entertainment plays a pivotal role within the Global Finance Shared Service Center, ensuring accurate and timely processing of sales data across various income streams. This position is based in Mexico City and involves close collaboration with local finance teams and global stakeholders to support the company's financial operations.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and processing sales files to ensure compliance with deal terms, overseeing financial postings and accruals, and managing General Ledger and Accounts Receivable reconciliations. The analyst will also handle invoicing of deal partners, supervise cash payment allocations, and maintain customer and deal information within internal systems. Additionally, the role involves liaising with various teams to address sales reporting concerns and contributing to business process improvements by identifying and addressing root causes of issues.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, and have a minimum of four years of relevant work experience, ideally within the music or entertainment industry. Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, is required, and experience with SAP, royalty systems, or sales systems is strongly preferred. Fluency in English is mandatory, and additional language skills are advantageous.
This position offers a one-year contract with the possibility of extension.
