OTC - Open Talent Pool
The Order to Cash (OTC) team at Sony Music Entertainment's Global Finance Shared Services (GFSS) Centre in Warsaw is responsible for managing financial postings, accruals, invoicing, cash application, and receivables management across various territories. This team plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and supports the company's core business worldwide.
Key responsibilities include reviewing financial postings and accruals, performing General Ledger and Accounts Receivable reconciliations, invoicing deal partners per sales reporting or contractual terms, overseeing intercompany invoicing, supervising the allocation of cash payments, and proactively monitoring systems to resolve aged items. Additionally, the team supports special projects and transformation initiatives, suggests and drives system changes to improve daily processes, and coordinates with various teams on joint work items.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, relevant work experience, strong organizational and leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in Polish and English is required, along with experience in a multinational environment. Prior experience with SAP and Business Warehouse is strongly preferred, as well as a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
