Paralegal

The Greening Law Group, led by Board Certified attorney Craig Greening, is a prominent criminal defense firm in Texas with offices in College Station and Waco. The firm is dedicated to providing aggressive defense and compassionate client care, handling a wide range of cases from misdemeanors to complex felonies. The Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys through detailed legal research, effective client communication, and meticulous case management.

Key responsibilities include managing approximately 120 active criminal cases, ensuring timely filings and court communications, drafting and formatting motions and pleadings, conducting legal research using LexisNexis and WestLaw, maintaining clear client communication, updating case management systems promptly, preparing for trials, and collaborating with the firm's Investigator and Discovery Clerk to ensure thorough evidence collection and discovery processes.

The ideal candidate will have 2-6+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in criminal defense, proficiency in legal research tools, strong case management skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, high judgment under pressure, technological proficiency with tools like Clio, Slack, and Office 365, a drive for process improvement, and ethical integrity.

This is a 100% onsite role based in College Station, TX, with one work-from-home day per month. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility as needed for court or trial demands.
