Paralegal, Program on Freedom of Religion and Belief

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is seeking a full-time Paralegal to join its Program on Freedom of Religion and Belief at the National Office in Washington, DC. This hybrid role requires in-office presence two days per week or eight days per month. The ACLU has a longstanding commitment to defending religious liberty, dating back to its support of conscientious objectors and the defense of John Scopes in the 1925 "Monkey Trial." The Program on Freedom of Religion and Belief continues this mission by ensuring that governmental laws and practices neither promote religion nor interfere with its free exercise.
