Paralegal
SGS Australia is a leading provider of Testing, Inspection, and Certification services, operating over 50 offices and laboratories nationwide with a workforce exceeding 1,400 employees. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Paralegal to join our Legal team in Perth, offering the flexibility to work from home on selected days. This role is integral to managing contract processes and providing comprehensive legal administrative support within our dynamic organization.
The Paralegal will be responsible for managing meetings and appointments, administering the single point triage work intake system, and overseeing our Contracts Lifecycle Management system, including task assignment and AI integration. Key duties include conducting legal reviews of contracts, coordinating with stakeholders, escalating issues to legal counsel, and assisting in resolving disputes. Additional responsibilities encompass managing insurance reviews, handling approvals and executions via Docusign and wet ink, supporting corporate secretarial services, and maintaining legal documentation and internal management systems.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years' experience in a paralegal or similar legal support role, with strong expertise in managing contracts and legal documentation. Exceptional organizational and stakeholder management skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and legal systems is required, along with knowledge of Contract Lifecycle Management tools, Docusign, and AI platforms such as Legora, Harvey, or Co Pilot, with a willingness to learn and integrate these technologies.
