Part-Time Bilingual Receptionist

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC is seeking a Part-Time Bilingual Receptionist/Contract Specialist for our Houston office. This role is ideal for individuals aiming to develop a career in the legal industry within a dynamic and client-focused environment. The Receptionist reports directly to the Office Manager and plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities include greeting and assisting clients and guests, managing multi-line phone systems, coordinating conference room reservations, and updating employee directories. The role also involves maintaining a tidy and presentable reception area, handling incoming and outgoing mail, ordering office supplies, and assisting with calendaring and scheduling meetings. Additionally, the position offers opportunities to draft, file, and prepare legal contracts, with training provided as needed.

Candidates must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, possess a strong customer service attitude, and be resourceful and motivated to resolve issues as they arise. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheets, and CLIO is preferred, along with experience in case management software. The schedule includes Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (three Saturdays per month), with occasional Wednesday shifts when Saturday is off.
