People Operations Specialist
The People Operations Specialist at OneTrust plays a pivotal role in delivering day-to-day People Operations support and contributes to the evolution of the People Services Delivery and Operating Model. This position supports both pre-hire and post-hire activities, ensuring a seamless, compliant, and employee-centric experience from job requisition through onboarding and across the employee lifecycle. The role is integral to supporting a global workforce through high-quality, scalable People Operations processes.
Key responsibilities include executing end-to-end People Operations processes across the employee lifecycle, such as pre-hire support, onboarding, employee data management, performance processes, and offboarding. The specialist partners closely with Talent Acquisition to support job requisition creation and opening, ensuring accurate data, approvals, and system alignment prior to hire. Additionally, the role involves owning talent onboarding activities, serving as a first-line point of contact for people-related queries, maintaining accurate and compliant people data within Workday, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure seamless handoffs and end-to-end employee experiences.
The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in People Operations, HR Shared Services, or HR Operations, with experience supporting pre-hire and onboarding processes, including partnership with Talent Acquisition. Hands-on experience working with Workday HCM, including employee data management, transactions, and process support, is essential. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, service-oriented environment, advanced Excel skills, and experience operating in a global or multi-country environment with exposure to HR compliance considerations.
