OneTrust is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team, focusing on Deployment and Platform Automation. In this role, you will collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance the scalability, reliability, and agility of our product development operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that development teams adhere to best practices for efficient and robust code deployment in non-production environments, facilitating a secure and seamless transition to production.

As a Principal DevOps Engineer, you will lead the design and development of cloud automation frameworks and infrastructure to enable automated deployment, scaling, and management of cloud-based applications. You will define criteria for code progression from non-production to production environments in alignment with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process. Additionally, you will maintain and design scripts, tools, and repositories that are efficient, robust, and secure. Collaboration with Product, Module, and Infrastructure teams will be essential to ensure continuous delivery and deployment of services by breaking down services into scalable, smaller, deployable code structures.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical or business field, along with over eight years of hands-on experience in the CI/CD and DevOps domain. Proficiency in Python and other scripting languages is required, as well as strong expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps tools. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is essential, along with familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and principles, including Terraform and Ansible. Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, including scripting for automated deployments, is also necessary.
