Physician, Virtual Care

About the Role

We are seeking a curious, adaptable and tech-forward physician to join our rapidly expanding team at Counsel. As an integral member of our clinical team, you will work closely with our VP of Care Delivery and CMO to provide exceptional messaging-based care, hand-in-hand with Counsel’s AI models. Your contributions will significantly shape the future of Counsel as we tackle healthcare’s biggest challenges.

What You’ll Be Working On

- Providing Exceptional Care and Medical Advice: Utilize our AI-enabled asynchronous platform to deliver outstanding medical care and advice.

- Innovative Development: Work alongside our top-tier engineers and designers to create best-in-class provider-facing technology.

- Creative Problem-Solving: Deploy a flexible, generalist physician skillset to solve problems for leading healthcare enterprises.

Requirements

- Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, with an active medical license (multi-state preferred, though exceptional candidates without multi-state licensure will be considered)

- Experience delivering telemedicine

- Be able to commit at least 20 hours per week.

- Ability to work up to 4 evenings and 2 weekend shifts per month. No overnights.
