Presuit Secretary

The Presuit Secretary at Morgan & Morgan plays a pivotal role in the pre-litigation phase of personal injury cases. In this role, the Presuit Secretary is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks. These include assisting in the organization, filing, and maintenance of client files, managing medical records and accident reports, and preparing demand packages. The position also involves handling correspondence, such as sending out demand letters and no representation letters, and performing general office duties like typing, operating office machines, and sorting mail. Additionally, the role requires communication with clients to obtain necessary updates for their cases.

Ideal candidates should possess an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred. A minimum of one year of experience in the legal field is advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
