Pricing Manager
The Manager of Pricing and Legal Project Management at King & Spalding is a pivotal role within the firm's Business Services team, focusing on optimizing pricing strategies and enhancing legal project management to deliver cost-effective solutions to clients. This position requires a blend of financial acumen, legal industry knowledge, and project management expertise to support attorneys in structuring engagements that are both competitive and commercially sound.
In this role, the manager will develop and implement pricing strategies that align with the firm's goals and client expectations, collaborate with attorneys and business development teams to structure fee arrangements, and analyze historical matter data to inform pricing decisions. Additionally, the manager will build and manage a philosophy around Legal Project Management to support matter planning, budgeting, and execution, develop and deploy LPM tools and best practices, and train attorneys and staff on project management principles.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA, JD, or other advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or project management within a professional services environment is required, with law firm experience strongly preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, and project management tools are essential.
