Principal Software Architect/Engineer (AI/C#/.NET)
Mitratech is seeking a Principal Software Architect/Engineer to lead the design and implementation of AI features within our SaaS applications. This role involves collaborating with multiple product engineering teams to develop robust AI-powered capabilities using technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agents, and machine learning pipelines. The position reports directly to the Senior Architect and offers the opportunity to influence the technological direction of Mitratech's next-generation products.
Key responsibilities include driving architectural evolution by partnering with the Senior Architect to define scalable and maintainable technical architectures. The role involves providing deep technical guidance on system design, integration approaches, and modernization pathways. Additionally, the architect will design and deliver proofs of concept to explore new technologies, validate architectural patterns, and mitigate risks associated with major initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of software engineering experience, including several years at a senior or staff level, with expertise in C#,.NET Framework, Core. Experience with MVC, Web API, LINQ, Entity Framework, and familiarity with WCF are essential. AI project experience is required, along with deep knowledge of cloud architectures, preferably Microsoft Azure. The candidate should demonstrate success in leading cross-team engineering initiatives and possess strong hands-on experience with web application development, API design, and secure application practices.
