Principal Solution Engineer (GRC)
The Principal Solution Engineer (GRC) at OneTrust is a pivotal role within the company's Solutions Engineering team, reporting directly to the Director of Solutions Engineering. This position is based in London, United Kingdom, and requires in-office presence twice per week. In this role, the Principal Solution Engineer will serve as a technical expert on system integrations during major sales opportunities. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering proposals, responding to RFPs, and conducting custom proof-of-concept evaluations to demonstrate OneTrust's integration capabilities. The engineer will lead technical deep-dive discussions to architect integrations and advise customers on best practices. Additionally, the role involves supporting sales teams with client meetings, presentations, and custom integration design options, as well as coordinating with internal R&D, technical integrations, and partner integrations teams to influence product capabilities and future direction.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or business field and have over eight years of experience in Solution Engineering, Management Consulting, or a similar role. A strong understanding of GRC, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), and Ethics is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully executing customer engagements throughout the customer journey, including discovery, product demonstrations, and proof projects. Experience within the software industry is advantageous, along with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. The role requires the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
