Private Credit / Fund Finance Lawyer
Clifford Chance, a leading international law firm with over 30 offices worldwide, is seeking a Private Credit / Fund Finance Lawyer to join their Dubai office. The firm offers a full-service platform integrated with its global network, advising clients on major transactions across the Middle East and beyond. In this role, the lawyer will handle a broad range of matters under both English and UAE law, including secured and unsecured bilateral and syndicated loans, leveraged and acquisition finance, private credit, fund finance, rescheduling and restructuring, loan transfers, participations, and loan portfolio acquisitions and disposals. The position involves working closely with banks, corporates, sovereign wealth funds, private capital investors, and other sponsors. The firm has been recognized for its outstanding banking and finance practice, earning accolades such as Band 1 Banking and Finance practice in Chambers Middle East 2025.
Candidates should have 4-6 years of post-qualified experience at a high-profile firm, with strong experience in fund financings and corporate finance. Exceptional legal ability, a practical commercial approach, and excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills are essential. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic is advantageous but not mandatory. A strong academic record is also expected.
