Experian is seeking a Procurement Business Partner to join its APAC procurement team, offering a significant opportunity to influence the team's development. The role is based in Mumbai, India, or Malaysia, supporting the EMAP market. The successful candidate will act as the primary contact for all Business Units' purchases in Mumbai and Hyderabad, including requirements related to HR, Facilities, Marketing, professional services, and business operations teams, while also assisting with other categories as needed.

Key responsibilities include leading negotiations for low and medium-risk transactions, managing RFXs, auctions, and contract renewals using Ariba, Experian's e-sourcing tool. The role involves defining and documenting project pipelines, conducting spend reviews, renegotiating existing contracts, and ensuring all expenditures are covered by robust contracts. Additionally, the Procurement Business Partner will strengthen relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers, develop alternate supplier and risk mitigation strategies, and drive cost-saving programs at both country and regional levels.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in economics, business, trading, or equivalent fields, with 4-6 years of experience in the procurement PR to PO process, including at least 3-4 years focused on the Indian market. Familiarity with the P2P process, market situations, and quality system standards in the financial and big data industries is preferred. A strong understanding of commercial law, including contractual risks, negotiation, and drafting experience, is essential. The candidate should have strong communication and project management skills, the ability to leverage existing supply tools and technologies, and an entrepreneurial spirit with a can-do attitude. Experience with Oracle ERP systems, Ariba, and SharePoint would be advantageous but is not necessary.
