Product Design Lead, Checkout and Payments (Bangkok - Based, Relocation Provided)

The Product Design Lead for Checkout and Payments will join Agoda’s dynamic product team in Bangkok, taking the helm in crafting seamless and effective user experiences for the company's core transactions workflows. The primary focus of this role is to lead design efforts for Agoda’s checkout and payment systems across web and app platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and data analysts to ensure intuitive, reliable transaction flows. A key aspect of your day-to-day work will be mentoring designers, developing the team’s capabilities, driving research initiatives, and setting a high bar for design quality from ideation through execution.

To be successful in this role, candidates should demonstrate an extensive background in digital product design with strong experience in e-commerce or fintech environments. Proven leadership experience—either through managing teams or leading multidisciplinary design projects—is essential. Deep familiarity with user-centered design methodology, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to present and justify design solutions to stakeholders are also critical. A portfolio demonstrating best-in-class design for transactional or payment experiences will be required.
