Product Engineer
Experian is seeking a skilled and motivated Product Engineer to join our Product Development team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the full Systems Development Life Cycle, supporting our mission to leverage data and technology to empower individuals and businesses worldwide.
As a Product Engineer, you will be involved in research and development, design, implementation, integration, testing, and deployment of software applications. You will lead specific application module development activities, conduct technical analysis and design of application modules and databases, provide technical expertise and guidance to developers, and ensure that developed modules meet established architecture and standards through code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing. Continuous process improvement is also a key aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in systems design and software implementation. Strong proficiency in modern front-end technologies, including Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, along with back-end skills in Java, VB, PHP, and MySQL, is required. Familiarity with AWS Cloud, experience with CodeIgniter, Bootstrap, and MVC architecture, and a good understanding of Agile, SCRUM, SDLC, and software design concepts are also essential. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal abilities, are necessary for success in this role.
