Product Engineer [PHP]
Experian is seeking a skilled and motivated Product Engineer with expertise in PHP to join our Information Technology & Systems department. This full-time, hybrid role offers the opportunity to be part of a global leader in information services, empowering consumers and businesses to manage their data with confidence.
As a Product Engineer, you will be involved in the full Systems Development Life Cycle, including research and development, design, implementation, integration, testing, and deployment of software applications. You will lead specific application module development activities, conduct technical analysis and design of application modules and databases, and provide technical expertise and guidance to developers. Ensuring that developed modules meet established architecture and standards through code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing is also a key responsibility.
The ideal candidate will possess a Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in systems design and software implementation. Proficiency in developing web applications and APIs using PHP (Version 8) with the CodeIgniter Framework, CSS, and jQuery is essential. Experience in developing Restful APIs with XML/JSON, strong MySQL query skills, and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and static code security practices are required. Knowledge of SDK integration, mobile development technologies (iOS and Android), cloud technology, and web application security principles is advantageous.
