Product Line Manager
As a Product Line Manager at Vention, you will lead the Hardware product line, encompassing the Structural Ecosystem, Workstations, and Accessories. Collaborating closely with Hardware Program Managers and Solution Architects, you will drive the growth and success of these products. This role is externally and commercially focused, involving market research, product vision development, product marketing, and sales enablement.
Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining the high-level product roadmap, conducting competitive benchmarking, and engaging with customers through discovery calls and on-site visits to understand their needs. You will define clear market positioning and value propositions for each product, advocate for resources and budget, and manage their allocation according to the product roadmap. Additionally, you will create technical marketing materials, maintain up-to-date customer-facing assets, and monitor and improve the overall user experience of your product lines.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and demonstrate expertise in industrial automation products and their specifications. You should have 1-3 years of experience in hardware product management, including exposure to P&L management. Strong project management skills, a risk mitigation mindset, and experience in launching new products from specification development to production validation are essential. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds and good time management is also required.
