Additionally, the role involves specifying interactions with upstream systems such as execution venues, trading platforms, and clearing houses, as well as defining workflows governing downstream integrations with payment systems, settlement platforms, and back-office systems. The specialist will also be responsible for the functional behavior of trade-level settled cash flows, including generation, amendments, netting, settlement status, and lifecycle tracking.
Candidates should possess over five years of experience with trade management or front-to-back trading systems, along with a strong understanding of the full derivative trade lifecycle, including clearing, settlement, and cash-flow processing. A solid working knowledge of risk management fundamentals, such as PnL, sensitivities, VaR, and exposure, is essential. Experience in specifying workflows involving upstream venues or clearing platforms and downstream payment and back-office systems is required. Proficiency in writing clear, structured, user-centric requirements in JIRA is also necessary. Exposure to multiple asset classes and their lifecycle specificities, as well as strong communication skills to collaborate across product, engineering, trading, operations, and risk teams, are highly valued.
