Product Specialist - Trading (EMEA)

The Product Specialist - Trading will work within the Product Management organization on the Trade Management & Workflow vertical of Oneview, a next-generation front-to-risk application for the financial markets industry. This role is integral to Numerix, a leading provider of innovative capital markets technology solutions, dedicated to redefining pricing and risk management in the financial markets.

The individual in this position will define functional specifications for the complete trade lifecycle within Oneview, encompassing pre-trade analysis, trade capture and booking, lifecycle events, and interactions with both upstream and downstream systems. Responsibilities include specifying interactions with execution venues, trading platforms, clearing houses, payment systems, settlement platforms, and back-office systems. Additionally, the role involves owning functional behavior for trade-level settled cash flows and ensuring workflows enforce appropriate controls, roles, permissions, and approval chains.

Candidates should possess over 5 years of experience with trade management or front-to-back trading systems, along with a strong understanding of the full derivative trade lifecycle, including clearing, settlement, and cash-flow processing. A solid grasp of risk management fundamentals, such as PnL, sensitivities, VaR, and exposure, is essential. Experience in specifying workflows involving upstream venues or clearing platforms and downstream payment and back-office systems is also required. Proficiency in writing clear, structured, user-centric requirements in JIRA and exposure to multiple asset classes are advantageous.

This is a hybrid or remote role, open to the EMEA region, with a preference for candidates residing in the Milan, Italy area.
